By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Civin.

2. How we use information
We use information to:

- personalize your experience and show relevant content;

- improve performance, fix bugs, and analyze aggregated usage trends;
- comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information:
- With other users: according to your profile and privacy settings (for example, public posts, live broadcasts, or voice rooms you join).
- With service providers: who help us operate Civin, such as cloud hosting, content delivery, live-streaming infrastructure, analytics, customer support tools, and payment processors. These providers may only use data to perform services for us.
- For legal and safety reasons: when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- In a business transfer: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
4. Live streaming, voice rooms, and chat
Content you broadcast, speak, or write in live sessions, voice rooms, or chats may be visible to other users according to the room settings you or the host choose. Please do not share sensitive personal information in public or semi-public spaces. We may review reported content to enforce community standards.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security and audit purposes (for example, financial transaction records).
6. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong password and keep your login credentials private.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access, correct, or update your profile information in the app;
- control privacy settings (online status, DMs, notifications, and related options where available);
- delete your account through in-app settings;
- opt out of non-essential notifications;
- request information about how we process your data by contacting us.
8. Children
Civin is not intended for children under the minimum age required in their country (typically 13 or higher depending on local law and app store rules). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. International users
Civin may process and store information on servers located outside your country. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions that may have different data-protection laws than your own.
10. Third-party links and services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (for example, payment or sign-in providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Civin after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
